You’re Invited: ACA and ASAP to Host Community Arts Mixer

Antigonish Culture Alive (ACA) and the All-of-Us Society for Art Promotion (ASAP) are hosting a community mixer on Thursday, January 16, from 7-9 pm, and you’re invited!

If you’ve ever attended the Antigonight “Art After Dark” festival, sent your kids to summer arts-programming, or paid witness to some of the amazing public art on display in Antigonish, then you’ve experienced the wonderful efforts of these local organizations.

Both organizations are seeking to increase awareness about their work and to encourage new members to join and get involved. Potential members need not be artists, just people with an interest in the arts and an appreciation of their value. There’s also no pressure to join either organization - the ACA and ASAP welcome your interest in learning more about what they do, and they would also love to hear your ideas! If you’ve got an idea for an arts-based event or project that you’d love to see realized, this is the place to put it out there.

The event will take place in the Tall & Small Cafe on Main Street, and is completely free. Come by and meet some of the hard-working folks who make art happen in Antigonish!
